The cell phone repeaters, what is this and how does it work?

The mobile booster is the radio engineering device that improves the quality of the cell phone wireless signal.

This device consists of the external (donor) antenna, the booster and one or several internal antennas. The external antenna is established on a wall or a roof of the building and accepts a cellular signal from mobile base stations. Then, the mobile signal received from the nearest stations, is cleared of hindrances and amplifies via cell phone amplifier and then the amplified signal is broadcast on internal antennas. These local antennas, established on a ceiling or walls, transfer the processed telephone signal directly on mobile phones of users.
The process of relaying occurs backwards at the signal transmission from a cellular telephone. Thus, internal antennas catch electromagnetic waves, radiated by cellular phones. The external aerial broadcasts the strengthened cellular signal in a direction of the mobile base station. Thus, the capacity of radiation of the usual gsm amplifier is comparable with the level of the signal of the cellular phone, working in the conditions of uncertain reception. The difference is only that the antenna of the cellular amplifier is located not at a head of speaking on the phone, bur in several tens meters from it.
Despite the versatility and the high quality of modern amplifying equipment, every case requires the individual unstable reception review. For example, in big cities the cellular signal is powerful enough, but distorted by multiple reflections from the walls of tall buildings, hindrances and it is weakened by passage through every possible obstacle. In addition, there are areas with “dead zones” – places where the phone signal is practically absent.
The remote areas are in other situation with the reception of telephone signals. Although the cellular signal is relatively clean and more uniformly adopted throughout the area, its power is sometimes insufficient. And even more difficult is to provide high-quality communications in basements, cellars and ground floors. Because the cellular signal in such places does not penetrate through the floor slabs, solid walls and a thick layer of earth. So you have nothing to increase.
All these questions are easily solved by using a mobile repeater.
